Finally
Things have been surprisingly busy here as of late. I realize that I have absolutely failed at faithful blogging and for that, I am sorry. I have some good news: we will be moving home on September 1st. It's official! Well, as official as anything can be with the Army. To catch you up on recent events: Connie was here with us last week and left on Sunday. Jonathan has been very ill since Sunday. To top it off, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Nana and Pop and Grandma on Thursday. Pork chops will be on the grill, Emily will be beaming with anticipation, and big full-of-love hugs will be given. Just a short post for now to let you know I have not forgotten about my blogging commitment! This is an exciting time in our lives.

It sounds like your life is going very well, and with 'moving home'...well, that's always good. Hopefully, we'll get to have another chance encounter and meet for lunch before you go. It's funny, but since I moved to Texas 3 years ago, it seems my life has been filled with people who walk in and then move right out again. I'm not used to that having come from a Midwest lifestyle. But, I wish you and your family love and joy during this transition time.
ReplyDeleteI'm not used to it either. I have never lived away from my home and my friends. It's hard. The Army has a way of building relationship and then ripping them away. I would love for that lunch to still happen. :)
