Home Sweet Home

I must apologize for leaving my blog unattended indefinitely. Furthermore, for leaving on such a sour note as was my previous entry. On very short notice, the decision was made for Emily and I to come home early. It was due to, once again, the Army's stupidity. But this time, it had a positive outcome for the two of us. Not so much for J. The good news is that the time is finally here. As of Tuesday, Jonathan will no longer be an active duty soldier in the US Army. And as of Wednesday, our residence will no longer be in Killeen, TX. Praise the Lord for that. Connie is with us this weekend and tomorrow we will spend our Labor Day preparing our new home for the movers to come. For the remainder of the week, we will spend our days in Chattanooga with more sweet family and friends awaiting J's return.

The end of my second class is rapidly approaching and it is harder than ever to avoid regressing to my dreaded procrastination habit. I'm a work in progress.

This is just a short post to get the bad taste out of our mouths from my last raging entry and from the Army as a whole. We are now allowed to move on with life and live as we please without the restraining rules and regulations of the Army.

It truly is good to be home.
